&  Battle of Edgcote 1469 September 11th & 12th 2010 Visit the Living History Encampment and see how medieval soldiers and their wives and families lived while on campaign 540 years ago. Within the  camp, the Medieval Siege Society members will recreate the flavour, smells and sights of a vanished age - to educate, illuminate and entertain visitors of all ages. You may come across soldiers,archers, surgeons and various craftsmen and women as they go about their daily tasks.  Arrows are fletched, food is cooked and equipment is made and repaired .
